Entrance to the fair is free. There is a charge for the concert, car races, and the Demo Derby. So bring your family out for a fun-filled day. We have lots and lots of fun events planned for each day. See you there.
The Montezuma County Fair will take place July 27 – Aug. 5th in Cortez Colorado.
We are excited about our new website, now we are better able to communicate the happenings at the Montezuma County Fair and keep our visitors and community informed of the upcoming fair events. We have a tremendous line up this year, with events for the whole family. In the Grandstand we will have some fan favorites such as the Ranch Rodeo, the Family Gymkhana, Lawnmower races, and some new additions such as a concert featuring Richie Law, (an American Idol Contestant) and an ATV rodeo.
At the race track, the Bradshaw Brothers will be putting on the Demo Derby, and Friday night will be the car races.
We will also have several family fun events such as kids day, chili and salsa contest, chicken chase, calf scramble, plus a lot-lot more.
You won’t want to miss the 4-H & FFA Events, Free Music Entertainment, Farmers Market, Food, and much more that will be happening here, at the Montezuma County Fair. Please check out our schedule for dates and times.
